The PRC has approved the USPS^® rate change scheduled to take effect January 22^nd, 2023. This change will impact both Market Dominant products such as the cost of a First-Class letter, as well as Competitive shipping services.

Highlighted below are some of the key mailing services that will experience price changes:

First-Class Mail^® prices will rise by approximately 4.2 percent.

Overall, Priority Mail^® service prices will increase approximately 5.5 percent, Priority Mail Express^® service prices will increase by 6.6 percent, and First-Class Package Service^® prices will increase by 7.8 percent.

Changes to Flat-Rate products shown below.

Note: Some Flat Rate options will see a reduction from current prices

These price changes will help the USPS^® offset rising operating expenses due to inflation and will provide them with needed revenue to achieve financial stability as part of their 10-year plan.
