In September of 2019, our Professional Services team headed to Hurst, Texas, to install FP's FlexStream Software at Data Solutions.

According to Katie Adams, Director of Operations and Sales at Data Solutions, FlexStream has taken a project that used to take three days and 2-3 people down to one day and 1-2 people. Time and labor savings consistently score the highest return on investment with FP’s combined mailing solution consisting of folder inserters and postage meters driven by FlexStream.

Katie added that, “Other projects that used to take a day now take only about an hour.” That’s a seven-hour time savings for one mailing job.

One of Data Solutions’ mailings includes statements and checks. Before acquiring FlexStream, Data Solutions had to print their checks and statements separately. As a result, they had to be manually matched by hand, thus making the process time consuming and labor intensive.

Through the use of FlexStream, Katie now pairs checks and statements for each customer within the software. FlexStream allows Katie to assign one drawer in her printer for checks and another for statements. “This part has made the biggest impact on my company. I save so much time and money with FlexStream.” Says Katie.

The ability to save templates and projects in FlexStream is another huge advantage for Katie. When training new employees all she has to do is show them how to open FlexStream, choose the template or project, add the documents and print.

“FlexStream has allowed us to quadruple our accounts because of the time savings and will allow us to do it again. I have the same amount of employees I started with however, I process three times the amount of work with less time than it took before. I honestly don’t understand how we ran this company before FlexStream.” – Katie Adams

As a result of the success FlexStream brought to Data Solutions, they recently added FlexVision, a complete code reading camera solution for verification and integrity of mail processing to their entire system. They are optimistic that it will return the same success that FlexStream did.
