There will be a rate change on January 24, 2021. More information about the updated rates will be posted soon.

Your PostBase Vision meter is IMI compliant meaning it will connect with FP’s servers every night.  During this routine connection the PostBase Vision will automatically download the new rates.

When waking up, or powering on your meter it may display the following message letting you know the new rates were obtained: “New postal rates downloaded, effective Jan. 24. ” If you do not see the message, please follow the steps below to verify the new rates were successfully downloaded.

*NOTE:  Your meter requires an internet connection to download the new rates.  If you do not see this message, please do the following.

  • Ensure your meter is connected to the internet via WiFi or Ethernet
  • From the meter menu select “Synchronize”
  • Select “Postal Sync” your meter will synchronize and download the new rates

How to verify the new rates were successfully downloaded:

(prior to January 24th, 2021)

  1. Select the “Menu” on the PostBase touchscreen
  2. Select “Change Date”
  3.  Change Date to 1/24/2021 and Save
  4. Select “Back” to return to the Menu
  5. Use the right arrow key to navigate through the menu and select “System Information”
  6. Scroll down to Rate Table, the version number should display as 15.00

*Note: After confirming the new rates were successfully downloaded, remember to change your date back to the current date.
