Troubleshooting

The network and computer system that serves PostBase may become overloaded during rate change, resulting in a “connection test failed” error and an error code similar to 0D020006. To help avoid overload, we suggest trying the rate download during times of less volume (eg: during lunch, or prior to leaving the office for the day). In the event you receive this message, please do not attempt to download postage.

Follow these steps to resolve a connection issue:

  1.  Ensure that both ends of the ethernet cable are connected
  2.  Reboot your meter
  3.  Once the meter has powered back on, select “Menu”
  4.  Select “Remote services” to update the rate

If you are still having trouble, please monitor the meter and write down any error codes that come up prior to contacting customer service. This will allow for a more timely resolution.
