Summary:

Handling the collection on accounts receivable portfolio which may include collections from FP direct customers, dealers, and/or leasing companies.

Primary Responsibilities:

Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Manages accounts receivable activities focusing on collections and develops procedures to improve existing systems and processes to maximize collection success
Documents daily collection activities
Negotiating solutions with delinquent customers
Identifying delinquent accounts requiring external collection efforts
Responds to inquiries from customers
Researches and resolves account discrepancies

Education/Experience:

One (1) plus years of experience in a collection or customer service environment requiring outbound calling. Knowledge of collection regulations a plus.

Competencies:

Requires excellent and written and verbal communication skills including the ability to firmly, yet professionally, demand payment; the ability to research, resolve, and communicate discrepancies on invoices and statements; strong attention to detail, and a good knowledge of credit policies.

Computer Skills:

Strong working knowledge of a mainframe accounting system and Microsoft Office software including Word, Outlook, and Excel. Accurate data entry skills.
