Summary:

FP Mailing Solutions is in a technology growth mode and expanding the current ERP environment on a global scale. Seeking a candidate with significant experience in communication and team operations and including functional analysis and C/AL programming of MCSFT Navision 2009 and later web-based versions for daily support and administration, and developing and training for enhancements of NAV system.


Must have experience with Warehouse, Inventory, Accounting, and Finance business processes as this candidate will be the go-to resource for development, reviews, analyzes, designs solutions, and modifications.


This role will be the main resource for programming of systems including encoding, testing, debugging, and installing to improve and support the organization's business applications and will often interact with business unit managers and company executives, external auditors for compliance topics, as well as the daily user community.


This role is a daily blend of maintenance, providing user support & bug fixes often directly working with users, implementing system enhancements based on policy guidelines and approved projects, and supporting the enterprise as the primary and often sole ERP resource.

Primary Responsibilities:

Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Gathers requirements from IT Director, Executives, Department Managers, and users as well as available documentation to understand purpose and desired results of requested application modifications and enhancements
  • Full Cycle SDLC experience
  • Analyzes requests to determine feasibility and develops best programming solution
  • Creates specifications and develops code ensuring that changes and enhancements are compatible with all applications within the system
  • Coordinates code testing to assure desired results are validated and successful
  • Documents and communicates code, revisions, and functionality as necessary
  • Provides back-end support to department managers and users as needed, including development of SQL based report facilitation
  • Maintains knowledge of company unique processes related to rentals, consignments, commissions, USPS compliance, postage meter teleset, subsidiary classification, and related
  • Actively participates in system conversions, integrations, and upgrades
  • Keeps up-to-date with the MCSFT ERP system programming languages and requirements
  • Audit / audit trail mindset – ensure documentation, adherence to policies

Education/Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in a related field with three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Computer Based Experience:

Platforms / technology Experience: MS Dynamics NAV 2009 R2, MS Dynamics NAV 2013. NAV Granules: FM (General,), SCM (S&R, P&P, Inventory), Warehouse Management, Manufacturing, L2O, O2C workflows


Significant experience developing and programming Microsoft Dynamics NAV (Navision), using C/SIDE (C/AL) particularly in the Financial and Distribution modules. MS Dynamics NAV certifications a plus.


Highly Preferred Additional Skills: SQL queries, Power BI, MCSFT Azure Web-Based Programming, ASP.NET with MVC, CRM; C#, CSS Bootstrap 2.1, (portal development, e-commerce, ADX Studio / Dynamics CRM)


MS server and LAN administration experience a plus
