Inside Sales

At FP, we value building a strong relationship with our potential clients for our product. The Inside Sales Representative will have exceptional relationship building skills that utilizes factual information to secure rental contracts. Our contracts include businesses for postage meters and other related products or services. The Inside Sales Representative will use their charismatic attitude to further entice interested customers into purchasing our product, present the details of the product and related services, sealing the deal and creating a follow-up plan with newly signed customers to ensure the utmost transactional and relationship successes.

• Comprehensive knowledge relating to the FP postage meters and other related offerings including the unique features and benefits of each meter
• Strong understanding of rental contracts for new clients, communication of product promotions, ability to effectively document all in and outbound calls with clients, and maintain knowledge of personal quotas
• Supports Sales Team by developing and continuously improving effective verbal and written scripts when interacting with prospects and responding to client objections
• Consistently achieves goal of contacting 60 or greater prospective business customers on a daily basis with the objective of determining their current mailing system and postage handling within their organization
• Effectively communicate the benefits of FP postage meters and its advantages for the needs of a potential client’s business including the details of rental agreements and promotional terms
• Documents calls in the CRM by entering prospective business contact information, call results, and follow-up plan
• Follows up with potential customers systematically to answer questions and encourage them to close the deal
• Secures complete contracts from new customers, verifies data for accuracy and completeness, and submits contracts to the Inside Sales Manager for review and processing
• Establishes a follow up plan for customers to ensure their satisfaction with their meter, respond to inquiries in a timely fashion, solicit additional sales and resolve any concerns that may arise
• Generates reports relating to sales activity to showcase to the Inside Sales Manager to determine how to continuously grow additional clients and supersede sales goal and quotas

Associate's degree (A. A.) in related field; two (2) years successful experience in a sales or related sales position requiring computer entry; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Efficient/accurate data entry, knowledge of Microsoft Office and Outlook, ability to apply computer knowledge to FP’s Navision CRM system.
