Cancellation Prevention

The Cancellation Prevention Specialist will effectively communicate with clients who are seeking cancellation of their contract. This role will be filled by a strong relationship building individual who will communicate the value in FP’s product to ensure the client continues to utilize company services. This role will work with the customer to retain and renew contracts for those who originally contacted FP for cancellation of their contracts.

• Urgently responds to verbal and written communication from dissatisfied customers by learning about the situations causing the dissatisfaction, analyzing the facts, and developing unique plans to retain each customer
• Possesses a comprehensive understanding of the solutions available to reconcile problems with customers
• Works collaboratively with appropriate departments to resolve issues with existing equipment and contract terms
• Maintains a firm understanding of the features and benefits of FP postage meters and related offerings
• Well rounded comprehension of the requirements of rental contracts, promotions, call documentation, quotas, and compensation plan
• Documents calls in the Navision Customer Card in detail by entering business contact information, call results, and follow-up plan for every customer
• Systematically follow up with all customers to answer questions and encourage them to sign off and close the deal
• Secures complete contracts from renewal and upgrade customers, verifies data for accuracy and completeness, and submits contracts to the Cancellation Prevention Supervisor for review and processing
• Follows up with customers as required to assure satisfaction, respond to queries, solicit further sales, and solve or refer problems
• Prepares detailed reports on cancellation prevention successes

Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent in related field; or two years successful experience in a sales retention or related sales position requiring computer entry; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Efficient and accurate data entry, knowledge of Microsoft Office and Outlook, ability to apply computer knowledge to FP’s Navision CRM system
