Summary: Drives Dealer and Major Account sales and meter placement activities of FP in an assigned region.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Include the following. Other duties may be required.

-Manages portfolio of independent dealers in assigned multi-state territory in person and remotely to meet or exceed meter placement and sales goals by keeping FP at the forefront of their business plan.
-Initiates, grows, and retains Major, National, and Government account business – in conjunction with dealers or independently.
-Advises and supports dealers on-site and remotely with their FP related business plan including: sales staff development, FP product knowledge, competitive pricing strategies, FP systems sales support, development opportunities, knowledge of sales and advertising tools, and performance expectations.

Summary: The Inside Sales Representative uses strong relationship building and fact finding skills to secure rental and or lease agreements from businesses for postage meters and related products or services through initial contact, sales presentation and closing skills, administrative documentation, and follow-up. This position is primarily responsible for proactive responses to warm leads generated through previously entered on-line inquiries and phone calls.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Include the following: Other duties may be assigned.
-Responds to assigned warm leads who have expressed an interest in obtaining a postage meter with the goal of turning the lead into a sale.
-The Rep should also be finding out more about their mailing habits and how they currently are handling postage within their organization.
-Learns the features and benefits of FP postage meters and related offerings as well as the competition.
-Understands requirements of selling, promotions, call documentation, quotas, and details.Helps develop and constantly improves upon effective verbal and written scripts to use when contacting prospects and answering to objections.
-Based on the needs of the business, explains FP postage meter benefits, advantages and details of a rental agreement with FP, including promotion terms.Makes 60 – 80 calls per day and documents calls by entering notes into FP’s database.(Most are automatically entered)
-Follows up with potential customers systematically to answer questions, explain the benefits of going with FP and or using a postage meter as well as encourage them to close the deal.
-Secures complete contracts from new customers, verifies data for accuracy and completeness, and submits contracts to the Inside Sales Supervisor for review and processing.
-Follows up with customers to solicit further sales from supplies and solve or refer problems.
Prepares reports on sales activities on a daily basis for each month using Microsoft Excel.

Education/Experience/Qualifications:
Associate’s degree (A. A.) or equivalent or two years of successful experience in Inside Sales with a proven track record of selling.
